Hotel Kristall-Saphir in Saas-Almagell proved to be a solid family retreat during our adventure-packed vacation. From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the inviting atmosphere and spotless common areas. Our kids were thrilled to explore the 32 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails hidden in the snow-covered larch forests, providing an enjoyable and safe environment for them to learn and glide. After skiing, the hotel had cozy spots for us to unwind together, making it easy to bond as a family. Though we encountered a mix of staff friendliness, many were genuinely helpful, guiding us to local attractions and goodies. We particularly enjoyed the extensive dining options that catered to all our tastes, giving our kids the chance to try traditional Swiss dishes. The accessibility to the wider Saas-Fee/Saastal region's trails was also a hit. We explored some stunning landscapes while biking on the 70 km of trails. With something for everyone, including a focus on family-friendly activities, Hotel Kristall-Saphir delivered a delightful experience for us, ensuring we left with memorable moments.
